Editor’s update…
After riding through Idaho for a few days, Philip and Sarah were close to the Oregon border. They were also close to a bunch of wild fires, a lot of smoke, and very high temperatures. So, Philip decided to forgo biking that part, and he and Sarah took a few days driving to Eugene.
Yesterday, he rode from Eugene to Florence, getting his first look at the Pacific ocean. From there he’ll be heading up the coast, planning to finish in Astoria on August 11th.
